3	11		1 AN ACT concerning regulation.
4	12		2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
5	13		3 represented in the General Assembly:
6	14		4 Section 5. The Telehealth Act is amended by changing
7	15		5 Section 10 as follows:
8	16		6 (225 ILCS 150/10)
9	17		7 Sec. 10. Practice authority. A health care professional
10	18		8 treating a patient located in this State through telehealth
11	19		9 services must be licensed or authorized to practice in
12	20		10 Illinois. A health care professional with a temporary permit
13	21		11 for full practice advanced practice registered nurse for
14	22		12 health care, a temporary permit for advanced practice
15	23		13 registered nurse for health care, or a temporary permit for
16	24		14 health care may treat a patient located in this State through
17	25		15 telehealth services in a manner consistent with the health
18	26		16 care professional's scope of practice and agreement with a
19	27		17 sponsoring entity.

22		-	20 ~~patient is a student attending an~~ institution of higher
