1212 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
1313 3 represented in the General Assembly:
1414 4 Section 5. The Department of Public Health Powers and

1616 6 amended by adding Section 2310-720 as follows:

1818 8 Sec. 2310-720. Prescription drug discount card program.
1919 9 The Department shall create a prescription drug discount card
2020 10 program in the State. The Department shall start the program
2121 11 as soon as reasonably practicable after the effective date of
2222 12 this amendatory Act of the 103rd General Assembly. The
2323 13 Department shall adopt rules necessary to carry out the
