Requires the Department of Children and Family Services to establish and operate a caseload tracking system which shall be designed to monitor and evaluate the interrelationship between client case plans, the Department's case tracking system, and the work responsibilities of the Department. Provides that the caseload tracking system shall prioritize the equal distribution of caseload burdens between the personnel of the Department. Provides that if the caseload tracking system generates data that shows a lack of equal distribution of caseload burdens between Department service areas, the Department shall prioritize the reorganization of the service areas so as to equalize caseload burdens. 1111 1 AN ACT concerning State government.
1212 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
1313 3 represented in the General Assembly:
1414 4 Section 5. The Children and Family Services Act is amended
1515 5 by adding Section 6b-5 as follows:
1616 6 (20 ILCS 505/6b-5 new)
1717 7 Sec. 6b-5. Caseload tracking system.
1818 8 (a) The Department shall establish and operate a caseload
1919 9 tracking system which shall be designed to monitor and
2020 10 evaluate the interrelationship between case plans required
2121 11 under Section 6a, the case tracking system described in
2222 12 Section 6b, and the work responsibilities of the Department.
2323 13 The caseload tracking system shall prioritize the equal
2424 14 distribution of caseload burdens between the personnel of the
2525 15 Department.
2626 16 (b) If the caseload tracking system generates data that
2727 17 shows a lack of equal distribution of caseload burdens between
2828 18 service areas of the Department established in accordance with
2929 19 Section 17a-2, the Department shall prioritize the
3030 20 reorganization of the service areas so as to equalize caseload
