Requires the Department of Children and Family Services to establish and operate a caseload tracking system which shall be designed to monitor and evaluate the interrelationship between client case plans, the Department's case tracking system, and the work responsibilities of the Department. Provides that the caseload tracking system shall prioritize the equal distribution of caseload burdens between the personnel of the Department. 11	11	1 AN ACT concerning State government.
12	12	2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
13	13	3 represented in the General Assembly:
14	14	4 Section 5. The Children and Family Services Act is amended
15	15	5 by adding Section 6b-5 as follows:
16	16	6 (20 ILCS 505/6b-5 new)
17	17	7 Sec. 6b-5. Caseload tracking system.
18	18	8 (a) The Department shall establish and operate a caseload
19	19	9 tracking system which shall be designed to monitor and
20	20	10 evaluate the interrelationship between case plans required
21	21	11 under Section 6a, the case tracking system described in
22	22	12 Section 6b, and the work responsibilities of the Department.
23	23	13 The caseload tracking system shall prioritize the equal
24	24	14 distribution of caseload burdens between the personnel of the
25	25	15 Department.
26	26	16 (b) If the caseload tracking system generates data that
27	27	17 shows a lack of equal distribution of caseload burdens between
28	28	18 service areas of the Department established in accordance with
29	29	19 Section 17a-2, the Department shall prioritize the
30	30	20 reorganization of the service areas so as to equalize caseload
31	31	21 burdens.
