1  AN ACT concerning State government.
2  Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3  represented in the General Assembly:
4  Section 5. The State Parks Act is amended by adding
5  Section 4d as follows:
6  (20 ILCS 835/4d new)
7  Sec. 4d. Menstrual hygiene products pilot program.
8  (a) In this Section:
9  "Menstrual hygiene products" means tampons and sanitary
10  napkins for use in connection with the menstrual cycle.
11  "Restroom facility" means any room equipped with toilets
12  or urinals for use by the public.
13  (b) The Department shall establish a pilot program to make
14  menstrual hygiene products available, at no cost to the
15  public, in each restroom facility that is serviced daily and
16  that is situated within the 5 most visited State parks under
17  the jurisdiction and control of the Department.
18  Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
19  becoming law.
