11	11	1 AN ACT concerning business.
12	12	2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
13	13	3 represented in the General Assembly:
14	14	4 Section 5. The Motor Fuel Sales Act is amended by adding
15	15	5 Section 1.5 as follows:
16	16	6 (815 ILCS 365/1.5 new)
17	17	7 Sec. 1.5. Sale of E-15 motor fuel blends.
18	18	8 (a) To the extent allowed by federal law, motor fuel
19	19	9 blends containing 10.5% to 15% ethanol, by volume, may be sold
20	20	10 in the State at any time during the year.
21	21	11 (b) If a waiver or other federal authorization must be
22	22	12 obtained to permit the sale of the motor fuel blends described
23	23	13 in subsection (a) throughout the year, then the Illinois
24	24	14 Environmental Protection Agency shall take all actions
25	25	15 necessary to obtain the federal authorization on behalf of the
26	26	16 State.
