SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Makes specified appropriations to the Legislative
Information System, Legislative Printing Unit, Legislative
Audit Commission, Legislative Reference Bureau, Joint Committee
on Administrative Rules, Architect of the Capitol, Commission
on Government Forecas ting and Accountability, Legislative
Ethics Commission, and Legislative Inspector General for their
ordinary and contingent expenses in the fiscal year beginning
July 1, 2023. Effective July 1, 2023.

AN ACT making appropriations. 1
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented 2
in the General Assembly: 3
Section 5. The sum of $4,514,600, or so much thereof as may 4
be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to 5
the Commission on Government Forecasting and Accountability to 6
meet its operational expenses for the fiscal year beginning 7
July 1, 2023. 8
Section 10. The sum of $1,500,000, or so much thereof as 9
may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 10
to the Commission on Government Forecasting and Accountability 11
for the purpose of maki ng pension pick up contributions to the 12
State Employees’ Retirement System of Illinois for affected 13
legislative staff employees for the fiscal year beginning Ju ly 14
1, 2023. 15
Section 15. The sum of $1,969,500, or so much thereof as 16
may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 17
to the Architect of the Capitol to meet its operational expenses 18
for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2023. 19

may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 1
to the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules to meet its 2
operational expenses for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 3
2023. 4
Section 25. The sum of $ 475,000, or so much thereof as may 5
be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to 6
the Legislative Audit Commission to meet its operational 7
expenses for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2023. 8
Section 30. The sum of $200,000, or so much thereof as may 9
be necessary, is appropria ted to the Legislative Ethics 10
Commission to meet the ordinary and contingent expenses of the 11
Commission for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2023. 12
Section 35. The sum of $920,000, or so much thereof as may 13
be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to 14
the Office of the Legislative Inspector General for its 15
ordinary and contingent expenses for the fiscal year beginning 16
July 1, 2023. 17
Section 40. The sum of $6,166,700, or so much thereof as 18
may be necessary, is appropriated from the Gen eral Revenue Fund 19
to the Legislative Information System to meet its operational 20

Section 45. The following sum, or so much of that amount 1
as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 2
Assembly Computer Equipment Revolving Fund to the Legislative 3
Information System for the fiscal year beginning, July 1, 2023: 4

Equipment and for other operational purposes 7

Section 50. The sum of $2, 705,300, or so much thereof as 9
may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 10
to the Legislative Printing Unit to meet its operational 11
expenses for the fiscal year b eginning July 1, 2023. 12
Section 55. The sum of $3,815,000, or so much thereof as 13
may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 14
to the Legislative Reference Bureau to meet its operational 15
expenses for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2023. 16
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 17
2023. 18
