20 | 20 | | 10 promote safer chemicals in consumer products and may cooperate |
---|
21 | 21 | | 11 with the interstate clearinghouse to: |

22 | 22 | | 12 (1) organize and manage available data on chemicals, |
---|
23 | 23 | | 13 including information on uses, hazards, environmental |
---|
24 | 24 | | 14 concerns, safer alternatives, and model policies and |
---|
25 | 25 | | 15 programs concerning specific chemicals; |
---|
26 | 26 | | 16 (2) provide technical assistance regarding chemical |
---|
27 | 27 | | 17 safety to businesses, consumers, and policymakers; |
---|
28 | 28 | | 18 (3) establish a data collection interface for use in |
---|
29 | 29 | | 19 the manner described in this Section; and |
---|
30 | 30 | | 20 (4) undertake any other activities in support of State |

31 | 31 | | 21 programs to promote chemical safety. |

83 | 83 | | 16 each year thereafter, a manufacturer of PFAS or a product or |
---|
84 | 84 | | 17 product component containing intentionally added PFAS that, |
---|
85 | 85 | | 18 during the prior calendar year, is sold, offered for sale, |
---|
86 | 86 | | 19 distributed, or offered for promotional purposes in, or |
---|
87 | 87 | | 20 imported into, the State shall register the PFAS or the |
---|
88 | 88 | | 21 product or product component containing intentionally added |
---|
89 | 89 | | 22 PFAS on the publicly accessible data collection interface |

120 | 120 | | 17 paragraph (4), the manufacturer shall provide (i) the brand |

121 | 121 | | 18 name of the formulation that contains PFAS and the name of the |

122 | 122 | | 19 manufacturer of the formulation and (ii) the chemical formula |

123 | 123 | | 20 or standardized name of the PFAS compound. |
