| 8 | 8 | | 6 work injuries in 2022 according to the most recent report from |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | 7 the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics; and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | 8 WHEREAS, All employers, private and public, should be |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | 9 dedicated to improving workplace safety, seeking stronger |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | 10 health standard enforcement, and treating workers with dignity |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | 11 as constant improvements in worker safety are pursued; and |

| 14 | 14 | | 12 WHEREAS, Since 1989, workers and local government leaders |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | 13 have gathered on April 28th to commemorate Workers Memorial |

| 16 | 16 | | 14 Day in honor of those who have lost their lives working to |

| 17 | 17 | | 15 provide a good standard of living for their families and |
|---|

|---|
| 19 | 19 | | 17 WHEREAS, Americans can honor our workers by observing |

| 20 | 20 | | 18 Workers Memorial Day, remembering those victims of workplace |

| 21 | 21 | | 19 injuries and workplace-related disease, and rededicating |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | 20 ourselves to improving safety and health in every American |
