16	16	2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
17	17	3 represented in the General Assembly:
18	18	4 Section 5. The Freedom of Information Act is amended by
19	19	5 changing Section 7.5 as follows:
20	20	6 (5 ILCS 140/7.5)
21	21	7 Sec. 7.5. Statutory exemptions. To the extent provided for
22	22	8 by the statutes referenced below, the following shall be
23	23	9 exempt from inspection and copying:
24	24	10 (a) All information determined to be confidential
25	25	11 under Section 4002 of the Technology Advancement and
26	26	12 Development Act.

405	405	2 determines that the person is indigent and unable to pay

407	407	4 All of which fees shall be certified by the court; in the
408	408	5 case of inmates of any State charitable or penal institution,
409	409	6 the fees shall be paid by the operating department or
410	410	7 commission, out of the State Treasury. Notwithstanding any
411	411	8 other law, a coroner shall provide one copy of the deceased's
412	412	9 autopsy report without charge to the deceased's physician
413	413	10 after the physician attests to the physician-patient
414	414	11 relationship in writing on a form provided by the coroner. A

418	418	15 The coroner shall file his or her claim in probate for his
419	419	16 or her fees and he or she shall render assistance to the
420	420	17 State's attorney in the collection of such fees out of the
421	421	18 estate of the deceased. In counties of less than 1,000,000
422	422	19 population, the State's attorney shall collect such fees out
423	423	20 of the estate of the deceased.
424	424	21 Except as otherwise provided in this Section, whenever the
425	425	22 coroner is required by law to perform any of the duties of the
426	426	23 office of the sheriff, the coroner is entitled to the like fees
427	427	24 and compensation as are allowed by law to the sheriff for the
428	428	25 performance of similar services.

440	440	1 coroner of any county is required to travel in the performance
441	441	2 of his or her duties, he or she shall receive the same mileage
442	442	3 fees as are authorized for the sheriff of such county.
443	443	4 All fees under this Section collected by or on behalf of
444	444	5 the coroner's office shall be paid over to the county
445	445	6 treasurer and deposited into a special account in the county
446	446	7 treasury. Moneys in the special account shall be used solely
447	447	8 for the purchase of electronic and forensic identification
448	448	9 equipment or other related supplies and the operating expenses
449	449	10 of the coroner's office.

451	451	12 Section 90. The State Mandates Act is amended by adding
