1111 1 AN ACT concerning State government.
1212 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
1313 3 represented in the General Assembly:
1414 4 Section 5. The Department of Labor Law of the Civil
1515 5 Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by adding Section

1818 8 Sec. 1505-225. Protections for professional musicians. The
1919 9 Department shall adopt rules to ensure that professional
2020 10 musicians are guaranteed workplace protections consistent with
2121 11 protections guaranteed to other occupations. As used in this
2222 12 Section, "professional musician" means an individual musician
2323 13 or member of a band that earns $7,500 of income in a calendar
