Advanced manufacturing education. 8 (a) The General Assembly finds that manufacturing is the 9 most basic and singularly important industry in this State, 10 that advanced manufacturing is of central importance to the 11 welfare and economic stability of this State, and that the 12 maintenance of this vital industry requires a continued source 13 of trained and qualified individuals for employment in 14 advanced manufacturing.
