| 5 | 5 | | 3 to learn of the death of Merriam "Lee" Gustafson of Moline, who |

| 6 | 6 | | 4 passed away on August 22, 2023; and |

| 7 | 7 | | 5 WHEREAS, Lee Gustafson was born to Clarence Bernhard and |

| 8 | 8 | | 6 Mabel Ann (Hanson) Gustafson in Minneapolis, Minnesota on |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | 7 January 16, 1927; he graduated from Dawson High School and the |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | 8 University of Minnesota, receiving a degree in agricultural |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | 9 engineering; he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | 10 from 1945 to 1946; he married Inez Kathleen Reiff in |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | 11 Minneapolis on December 1, 1951; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | 12 WHEREAS, Lee Gustafson worked as an engineer at John |

| 15 | 15 | | 13 Deere; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | 14 WHEREAS, Lee Gustafson was involved in Christian |

| 17 | 17 | | 15 education, and he was an avid participant in the Full Gospel |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | 16 Business Men's Fellowship and a member of Toastmasters and the |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | 17 Christian Service Brigade; he enjoyed photography as a hobby, |

| 20 | 20 | | 18 and he loved traveling and researching his Swedish genealogy; |
