| 5 | 5 | | 3 to learn of the death of Stephanie G. Wood of Bolingbrook, who |

| 6 | 6 | | 4 passed away on September 15, 2024; and |

| 7 | 7 | | 5 WHEREAS, Stephanie Wood, the daughter of Fernando and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | 6 Diane (Munoz) Esparza, was born in Oak Park on August 19, 1984; |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | 7 she received her undergraduate degree from DePaul University |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | 8 and her law degree from the John Marshall Law School, now known |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | 9 as the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | 10 WHEREAS, Stephanie Wood worked in graduate admissions at |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | 11 her alma mater, DePaul University, for the past six years; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | 12 WHEREAS, Stephanie Wood was active in the martial art of |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | 13 Taekwondo for the majority of her life and had obtained her |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | 14 black belt; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | 15 WHEREAS, Stephanie Wood enjoyed playing board games, |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | 16 poker, and video games and exploring her creativity, including |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | 17 painting and building unique projects for her home; she adored |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | 18 all dogs but especially loved her two late dogs, Bree and |

| 21 | 21 | | 19 Oscar; she loved being with her family and friends, including |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | 20 entertaining them at countless themed parties and arranging |
