18 | 18 | | 8 (a) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a person |

21 | 21 | | 11 otherwise qualified to vote is qualified to vote at that |

22 | 22 | | 12 caucus, general primary, or consolidated primary, including |
---|
23 | 23 | | 13 voting a vote by mail, grace period, or early voting ballot |
---|
24 | 24 | | 14 with respect to that general primary or consolidated primary, |
---|
25 | 25 | | 15 if that person will be 18 years old on the date of the |
---|
26 | 26 | | 16 immediately following general election or consolidated |
---|
27 | 27 | | 17 election for which candidates are nominated at that primary. |

28 | 28 | | 18 (b) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a person |

29 | 29 | | 19 who is otherwise qualified to vote may preregister to vote on |

30 | 30 | | 20 or after that person's 16th birthday, with the registration |
