Provides that the printed proof of registration is valid for 30 days from the expiration of the previous registration sticker's or digital registration sticker's date or 30 days from the purchase date of the new registration sticker or digital registration sticker, whichever occurs later. Provides that the owner of an antique vehicle may register such vehicle for a fee not to exceed $6 per registration year (rather than $13 for a 2-year antique plate). Provides that if the Secretary determines that an owner has registered or maintained the registration of a motor vehicle without a liability insurance policy, the Secretary shall notify the owner that such owner's vehicle registration shall be suspended 30 (rather than 45) days after the date of the mailing of the notice unless the owner within 30 days furnishes proof of insurance in effect on the verification date or provides an exemption from the mandatory insurance requirements. 3	18		1 AN ACT concerning transportation.
4	19		2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
5	20		3 represented in the General Assembly:
6	21		4 Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by
7	22		5 changing Sections 1-118.1, 2-106, 3-307, 3-701, 3-804,
8	23		6 7-603.5, and 7-605 and by adding Section 2-123.5 as follows:

10	25		8 Sec. 1-118.1. Expanded-use antique vehicle.
11	26		9 A motor vehicle that is more than 25 years of age or a bona
12	27		10 fide replica thereof and which is registered and driven on the
13	28		11 highways in accordance with Section 3-804.01. "Expanded-use
14	29		12 antique vehicle" does not include a commercial vehicle, as
15	30		13 defined under Section 1-111.8, or a farm truck, as defined
16	31		14 under Section 3-815.
