| 5 | 5 | | 3 to learn of the death of Grant Withers of Petersburg, who |

| 6 | 6 | | 4 passed away on February 4, 2025; and |

| 7 | 7 | | 5 WHEREAS, Grant Withers, the son of Richard and Leslie |

| 8 | 8 | | 6 (Bennett), was born in Springfield on July 10, 2009; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | 7 WHEREAS, Grant Withers was a student-athlete at PORTA High |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | 8 School in Petersburg; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | 9 WHEREAS, Grant Withers was a member of 4-H and Future |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | 10 Farmers of America (FFA); and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | 11 WHEREAS, Grant Withers loved hunting with his brother, |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | 12 fishing, riding dirt bikes and four-wheelers, working, and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | 13 spending time on the lake with his friends; he also loved |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | 14 playing sports, including football, baseball, and basketball; |

| 18 | 18 | | 16 WHEREAS, Grant Withers was preceded in death by his |
