| 7 | 7 | | 5 WHEREAS, Alanson Holly was born in La Jolla, California to |

| 8 | 8 | | 6 Forrest Merton and Jean (Treadway) Holly on April 11, 1951; he |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | 7 attended Principia College in Elsah; he married Stephanie, a |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | 8 camper he met while working as a camp counselor in Buena Vista |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | 9 Colorado at Adventure/Unlimited Ranches, on August 28, 1976; |

| 12 | 12 | | 10 and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | 11 WHEREAS, Alanson Holly published a blog, the RAIN Report, |

| 14 | 14 | | 12 and was an avid amateur radio operator, operating under the |

| 15 | 15 | | 13 call sign KC9RP; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | 14 WHEREAS, Alanson Holly was a kind man with a wonderful |

| 17 | 17 | | 15 sense of humor; he was a member of the Lions Club and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | 16 Toastmasters International in Des Plaines; he and Stephanie |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | 17 were active members of the Emergency Management Agency; and |

| 20 | 20 | | 18 WHEREAS, Alanson Holly was preceded in death by his |

| 21 | 21 | | 19 parents and his brothers, Forrest Holly Jr. and William (the |

| 22 | 22 | | 20 late Cher) Holly; and |
