| 22 | 22 | | 7 Whereas, Nearly one in three children are already infected |

| 23 | 23 | | 8 with cytomegalovirus by five years of age; |

| 24 | 24 | | 9 Whereas, About one out of every 200 infants is born with |

| 25 | 25 | | 10 congenital cytomegalovirus; |

| 26 | 26 | | 11 Whereas, About one in five babies born with congenital |

| 27 | 27 | | 12 cytomegalovirus will suffer long term health problems such as |

| 28 | 28 | | 13 hearing loss, vision loss, intellectual disability, microcephaly, |

| 29 | 29 | | 14 lack of coordination or weakness, or seizures; |

| 30 | 30 | | 15 Whereas, Fifteen percent of babies with congenital |

| 31 | 31 | | 16 cytomegalovirus will not have symptoms at birth but will later |
