2626 A BILL FOR AN ACT to amend the Indiana Code concerning

2828 Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana:
2929 1 SECTION 1. IC 20-28-5-28 IS ADDED TO THE INDIANA CODE
3030 2 AS A NEW SECTION TO READ AS FOLLOWS [EFFECTIVE JULY
3131 3 1, 2023]: Sec. 28. (a) As used in this section, "emergency permit"
3232 4 refers to an emergency permit described in 511 IAC 16-4-1 or its
3333 5 successor rule.
3434 6 (b) Beginning July 1, 2023, an emergency permit may be
3535 7 renewed annually for not more than three (3) consecutive years.
