| 17 | 17 | | 4 Whereas, Eddie Langford was born on January 25, 1957, |

| 18 | 18 | | 5 to Eddie Langford, Jr. and Laura Langford, and graduated |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | 6 from Los Angeles High School in Los Angeles, California; |

| 20 | 20 | | 7 Whereas, Eddie began his career with the Indiana Senate |

| 21 | 21 | | 8 during the 1993 legislative session as session staff, and was |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | 9 hired into the full-time staff by Principal Secretary Carolyn |

| 23 | 23 | | 10 Tinkle in September 1994; |

| 24 | 24 | | 11 Whereas, Throughout his years in the Senate, Eddie |

| 25 | 25 | | 12 assisted staff and legislators in maintaining and improving the |

| 26 | 26 | | 13 overall quality of the Senate Chamber, committee rooms, and |

| 27 | 27 | | 14 workplace spaces as a member of the five-person Senate |

| 29 | 29 | | 16 Whereas, During the COVID-19 pandemic, Eddie was |

| 43 | 43 | | 10 grandchildren, traveling on cruise lines, and honing his craft |

| 44 | 44 | | 11 in remodeling, outdoor gardening, and landscaping at his |

| 45 | 45 | | 12 Indianapolis home; and |

| 46 | 46 | | 13 Whereas, Eddie is a cherished and vital member of the |

| 47 | 47 | | 14 Senate family who will be greatly missed by staff and |

| 48 | 48 | | 15 legislators: Therefore, |

| 49 | 49 | | 16 Be it resolved by the Senate of the |
