32 | 32 | | 4 Chapter 39.5. Childhood Scoliosis Screening |
---|
33 | 33 | | 5 Sec. 1. A health care provider who provides health care services |
---|
34 | 34 | | 6 to a child who is at least nine (9) years of age but less than thirteen |
---|
35 | 35 | | 7 (13) years of age shall, at the child's annual visit, do the following: |
---|
36 | 36 | | 8 (1) Determine whether the child has received a scoliosis |
---|
37 | 37 | | 9 screening in the last twelve (12) months. |
---|
38 | 38 | | 10 (2) If the child has received a scoliosis screening in the last |
---|
39 | 39 | | 11 twelve (12) months, determine the results of the screening |
---|
40 | 40 | | 12 and, if applicable, any recommended treatment. |
---|
41 | 41 | | 13 (3) If the child has not received a scoliosis screening in the last |

42 | 42 | | 14 twelve (12) months, offer a scoliosis screening. |
