36+A BILL FOR AN ACT to amend the Indiana Code concerning local
37+government.
1338 Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana:
14-SECTION 1. IC 36-7-2-14 IS ADDED TO THE INDIANA CODE
15-AS A NEW SECTION TO READ AS FOLLOWS [EFFECTIVE JULY
16-1, 2024]: Sec. 14. (a) This section does not apply to development on
17-a site that is located within an area that:
18-(1) the department of natural resources has determined to be
19-the watershed area of a reservoir; and
20-(2) is a source of drinking water for a municipality.
21-(b) As used in this section, "development" means an
22-improvement of any kind on land, including:
23-(1) residential dwellings;
24-(2) commercial buildings;
25-(3) accessory structures;
26-(4) driveways; and
27-(5) utilities.
28-(c) A unit may not adopt or enforce an ordinance or resolution

78+Mr. Speaker: Your Committee on Natural Resources, to which was
79+referred House Bill 1108, has had the same under consideration and
80+begs leave to report the same back to the House with the
81+recommendation that said bill be amended as follows:
82+Page 1, delete lines 15 through 17, begin a new paragraph and
83+insert:
84+"(c) A unit may not adopt or enforce an ordinance or resolution

33-CODE AS A NEW SECTION TO READ AS FOLLOWS
34-[EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2024]: Sec. 201.4. (a) This section does not
35-apply to development on a site that is located within an area that:
