| 18 | 18 | | 4 Police Officer Brian Meador's quick response and training |

| 19 | 19 | | 5 helped save a child's life; |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | 6 Whereas, A couple was taking their child to the hospital when |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | 7 the child became unresponsive in the car, so they stopped at the |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | 8 nearby police station for help; |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | 9 Whereas, Officer Meador heard a commotion in the lobby of |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | 10 the department and rushed over to see if he could help; |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | 11 Whereas, Officer Meador, without hesitation, began |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | 12 performing chest compressions on the child until medics |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | 13 arrived; |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | 14 Whereas, By the time medics arrived in the lobby, the child |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | 15 was once again responsive; and |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | 16 Whereas, Thanks to Officer Meador's quick actions, the child |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | 17 is alive and continuing to recover: Therefore, |

| 32 | 32 | | 18 Be it resolved by the House of Representatives |
