| 25 | 25 | | 9 Whereas, He was a farmer in Van Buren Township and an |

| 26 | 26 | | 10 active community member, serving as State Representative in |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | 11 the General Assembly for the Grant County area from 1976 to |

| 28 | 28 | | 12 1986, during which time he was chairman of the Natural |

| 29 | 29 | | 13 Resources Committee and a member of the Agriculture and |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | 14 Education Committees; |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | 15 Whereas, He also served on the Grant County Council, Van |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 16 Buren Township Advisory Board, Eastbrook School |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 17 Corporation School Board, Grant County 4-H Board, and he |

| 34 | 34 | | 18 was the former director and Board President for |

| 35 | 35 | | 19 Grant-Blackford Farmers Mutual Insurance Company; |
