1438 Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana:
15-SECTION 1. IC 14-22-6-17 IS ADDED TO THE INDIANA CODE
16-AS A NEW SECTION TO READ AS FOLLOWS [EFFECTIVE JULY
17-1, 2024]: Sec. 17. (a) A person shall obtain a license to take a bobcat
18-under IC 14-22-12-1 to participate in the season to take a bobcat
19-under subsection (b).
20-(b) The director shall, not later than July 1, 2025, adopt rules to
21-establish a season to take a bobcat.
22-SECTION 2. IC 14-22-12-1, AS AMENDED BY P.L.127-2022,
23-SECTION 25, IS AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS [EFFECTIVE
24-JULY 1, 2024]: Sec. 1. (a) The department may issue the following
25-licenses individually or in combination and, except as provided in
26-section 1.5 of this chapter and subject to subsection (b), shall charge
27-the following minimum license fees to hunt, trap, or fish in Indiana:
28-(1) A resident yearly license to fish, eight dollars and seventy-five
29-cents ($8.75).
30-(2) A resident yearly license to hunt, eight dollars and
31-seventy-five cents ($8.75).
32-(3) A resident yearly license to hunt and fish, thirteen dollars and
33-seventy-five cents ($13.75).
34-(4) A resident yearly license to trap, eight dollars and seventy-five
35-cents ($8.75).

37-(5) A nonresident yearly license to fish, twenty-four dollars and
38-seventy-five cents ($24.75).
39-(6) A nonresident yearly license to hunt, sixty dollars and
40-seventy-five cents ($60.75).
41-(7) A nonresident yearly license to trap, one hundred seventeen
42-dollars and seventy-five cents ($117.75).
43-(8) A resident or nonresident license to fish, including for trout
44-and salmon, for one (1) day only, four dollars and seventy-five
45-cents ($4.75).
46-(9) A nonresident license to fish, excluding for trout and salmon,
47-for seven (7) days only, twelve dollars and seventy-five cents

57-(13) A resident yearly license to take a deer with a muzzle loading
58-gun, thirteen dollars and seventy-five cents ($13.75).
59-(14) A resident yearly license to take a deer with a:
60-(A) bow and arrow; or
61-(B) crossbow and bolt;
62-thirteen dollars and seventy-five cents ($13.75).
63-(15) A nonresident yearly license to take a deer with a shotgun,
64-muzzle loading gun, rifle, or handgun, one hundred twenty dollars
65-and seventy-five cents ($120.75).
66-(16) A nonresident yearly license to take a deer with a muzzle
67-loading gun, one hundred twenty dollars and seventy-five cents
68-($120.75).
69-(17) A nonresident yearly license to take a deer with a:
70-(A) bow and arrow; or
71-(B) crossbow and bolt;
72-one hundred twenty dollars and seventy-five cents ($120.75).
73-(18) A resident license to take an extra deer by a means, in a
74-location, and under conditions established by rule adopted by the
75-department under IC 4-22-2, five dollars ($5).
76-(19) A nonresident license to take an extra deer by a means, in a
77-location, and under conditions established by rule adopted by the
78-department under IC 4-22-2, ten dollars ($10).

80-(20) A resident yearly license to take a turkey, fourteen dollars
81-and seventy-five cents ($14.75).
82-(21) A nonresident yearly license to take a turkey, one hundred
83-fourteen dollars and seventy-five cents ($114.75).
84-(22) A resident license to take an extra turkey by a means, in a
85-location, and under conditions established by rule adopted by the
86-department under IC 4-22-2, fourteen dollars and seventy-five
87-cents ($14.75).
88-(23) A nonresident license to take an extra turkey by a means, in
89-a location, and under conditions established by rule adopted by
90-the department under IC 4-22-2, one hundred fourteen dollars and
91-seventy-five cents ($114.75).
92-(24) A resident youth yearly consolidated license to hunt, trap,
93-and fish, six dollars ($6). This license is subject to the following:
94-(A) An applicant must be less than eighteen (18) years of age.
95-(B) The license is in lieu of the resident yearly license to hunt,
96-trap, and fish and all other yearly licenses, stamps, or permits
97-to hunt, trap, and fish for a specific species or by a specific
98-means.
99-(25) A nonresident youth yearly license to hunt, seventeen dollars
100-($17). The applicant must be less than eighteen (18) years of age.
101-This license includes all yearly stamps to hunt for a specific
102-species or by specific means.
103-(26) A nonresident youth yearly license to trap, seventeen dollars
104-($17). The applicant must be less than eighteen (18) years of age.
105-(27) A nonresident youth yearly license to take a turkey,
106-twenty-five dollars ($25). The applicant must be less than
107-eighteen (18) years of age.
108-(28) A nonresident youth license to take an extra turkey by a
109-means, in a location, and under conditions established by rule
110-adopted by the department under IC 4-22-2, twenty-five dollars
111-($25). The applicant must be less than eighteen (18) years of age.
112-(29) A nonresident youth yearly license to take a deer with a
113-shotgun, muzzle loading gun, or rifle, twenty-four dollars ($24).
114-The applicant must be less than eighteen (18) years of age.
115-(30) A nonresident youth yearly license to take a deer with a
116-muzzle loading gun, twenty-four dollars ($24). The applicant
117-must be less than eighteen (18) years of age.
118-(31) A nonresident youth yearly license to take a deer with a:
119-(A) bow and arrow; or
120-(B) crossbow and bolt;
121-twenty-four dollars ($24). The applicant must be less than

123-eighteen (18) years of age.
124-(32) A nonresident youth license to take an extra deer by a means,
125-in a location, and under conditions established by rule adopted by
126-the department under IC 4-22-2, twenty-four dollars ($24). The
127-applicant must be less than eighteen (18) years of age.
128-(33) A resident senior yearly license to fish, three dollars ($3).
129-This license is subject to the following:
130-(A) An applicant must be at least sixty-four (64) years of age
131-and born after March 31, 1943.
132-(B) The license is in lieu of the resident yearly license to fish
133-and all other yearly licenses, stamps, or permits to fish for a
134-specific species or by a specific means.
135-(34) A resident senior "fish for life" license, seventeen dollars
136-($17). This license is subject to the following:
137-(A) An applicant must be at least sixty-four (64) years of age.
138-(B) The license applies each year for the remainder of the
139-license holder's life.
140-(C) The license is in lieu of the resident senior yearly license
141-to fish and all other yearly licenses, stamps, or permits to fish
142-for a specific species or by a specific means.
143-(35) A voluntary resident senior yearly license to fish, three
144-dollars ($3). This license is subject to the following:
145-(A) An applicant must have been born before April 1, 1943.
146-(B) The license is instead of the resident yearly license to fish
147-and all other yearly licenses, stamps, and permits to fish for a
148-specific species or by a specific means.
149-(36) A resident license to take a bobcat, fifteen dollars ($15).
150-(37) A nonresident youth license to take a bobcat, twenty-four
151-dollars ($24).
152-(38) A nonresident license to take a bobcat, one hundred
153-twenty dollars ($120).
154-(b) The commission may set license fees to hunt, trap, or fish above
155-the minimum fees established under subsection (a).
156-(c) In addition to the license fees set under this section, the
157-department shall establish a procedure to collect voluntary donations
158-for processing wild game when a hunting license is sold. The minimum
159-suggested donation must be one dollar ($1). The money collected under
160-this section shall be deposited in the Indiana sportsmen's benevolence
161-account (IC 14-9-5-4).

90+34 (16) A nonresident yearly license to take a deer with a muzzle
91+35 loading gun, one hundred twenty dollars and seventy-five cents

93+37 (17) A nonresident yearly license to take a deer with a:
94+38 (A) bow and arrow; or
95+39 (B) crossbow and bolt;

97+41 (18) A resident license to take an extra deer by a means, in a
