29 | 29 | | Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana: |

30 | 30 | | 1 SECTION 1. IC 12-15-13-10 IS ADDED TO THE INDIANA |

31 | 31 | | 2 CODE AS A NEW SECTION TO READ AS FOLLOWS |

32 | 32 | | 3 [EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2024]: Sec. 10. (a) This section is: |
---|
33 | 33 | | 4 (1) subject to the availability of federal matching funds; and |
---|
34 | 34 | | 5 (2) in addition to, and does not include, outlier payments |
---|
35 | 35 | | 6 made by the office for the services described in this section. |
---|
36 | 36 | | 7 (b) Beginning July 1, 2024, and subject to subsection (e), the |
---|
37 | 37 | | 8 office shall increase reimbursement rates for prenatal obstetric |
---|
38 | 38 | | 9 and gynecological services as follows: |

39 | 39 | | 10 (1) By increasing the rate by at least forty-four percent (44%) |
---|
40 | 40 | | 11 from the reimbursement rate for the service on December 31, |

42 | 42 | | 13 (2) On January 1 of each year, by adjusting the rate described |
