1313 1 A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION recognizing the
1414 2 contributions of the Applied Research Institute.
1515 3 Whereas, The Applied Research Institute (ARI) has
1616 4 established itself as a leading non-profit organization in the
1717 5 state of Indiana, dedicated to fostering collaboration and
1818 6 innovation across sectors and bringing together a diverse
1919 7 range of ecosystem members, including industry partners,
2020 8 academic researchers and institutions, government entities, and
2121 9 public-private partnerships;
2222 10 Whereas, ARI's commitment to creating synergies between
2323 11 different sectors has led to groundbreaking collaborations,
2424 12 advancing the state's global reputation as a hub of innovation
2525 13 and progress and yielding significant benefits for the state of
2626 14 Indiana and its citizens;
2727 15 Whereas, ARI's profound contributions to the fields of
2828 16 research and development are exemplified in its recent
2929 17 successes in the Microelectronics Commons opportunity from
3030 18 the Department of Defense, the Regional Clean Hydrogen Hub
3131 19 opportunity from the Department of Energy, and the Regional
3232 20 Tech Hub opportunity from the Department of Commerce; and
3333 21 Whereas, The organization's unwavering dedication to the
3434 22 principles of transparency, inclusivity, and shared knowledge
3535 23 have made it a valued and trusted member of Indiana
3636 24 communities, an instrumental partner in addressing various
3737 25 societal and national security challenges, a key facilitator of
3838 26 sustainable development, and a champion of a culture of

4040 1 continuous learning and improvement: Therefore,
4141 2 Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly
4242 3 of the State of Indiana, the House of Representatives
4343 4 concurring:
4444 5 SECTION 1. That the Indiana General Assembly
4545 6 acknowledges and commends the Applied Research Institute for
4646 7 its exemplary service to the State of Indiana and extends its
4747 8 heartfelt gratitude for its ongoing efforts to unite various
4848 9 stakeholders in the pursuit of a brighter, more prosperous future
4949 10 for all.
5050 11 SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Senate is hereby directed
5151 12 to transmit a copy of this Resolution to Andrew Kossack,
5252 13 Executive Vice President of Partnerships and General Counsel,
5353 14 and the Board of Directors of the Applied Research Institute.
