RESOLUTION No. _____
1 A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION recognizing the
2 contributions of the Applied Research Institute.
3 Whereas, The Applied Research Institute (ARI) has
4 established itself as a leading non-profit organization in the
5 state of Indiana, dedicated to fostering collaboration and
6 innovation across sectors and bringing together a diverse
7 range of ecosystem members, including industry partners,
8 academic researchers and institutions, government entities, and
9 public-private partnerships;
10 Whereas, ARI's commitment to creating synergies between
11 different sectors has led to groundbreaking collaborations,
12 advancing the state's global reputation as a hub of innovation
13 and progress and yielding significant benefits for the state of
14 Indiana and its citizens;
15 Whereas, ARI's profound contributions to the fields of
16 research and development are exemplified in its recent
17 successes in the Microelectronics Commons opportunity from
18 the Department of Defense, the Regional Clean Hydrogen Hub
19 opportunity from the Department of Energy, and the Regional
20 Tech Hub opportunity from the Department of Commerce; and
21 Whereas, The organization's unwavering dedication to the
22 principles of transparency, inclusivity, and shared knowledge
23 have made it a valued and trusted member of Indiana
24 communities, an instrumental partner in addressing various
25 societal and national security challenges, a key facilitator of
26 sustainable development, and a champion of a culture of

1 continuous learning and improvement: Therefore,
2 Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly
3 of the State of Indiana, the House of Representatives
4 concurring:
5 SECTION 1. That the Indiana General Assembly
6 acknowledges and commends the Applied Research Institute for
7 its exemplary service to the State of Indiana and extends its
8 heartfelt gratitude for its ongoing efforts to unite various
9 stakeholders in the pursuit of a brighter, more prosperous future
10 for all.
11 SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Senate is hereby directed
12 to transmit a copy of this Resolution to Andrew Kossack,
13 Executive Vice President of Partnerships and General Counsel,
14 and the Board of Directors of the Applied Research Institute.
