| 12 | 12 | | I offer the following resolution and move its adoption: |

| 13 | 13 | | 1 A SENATE RESOLUTION honoring Senator John Crane |

| 14 | 14 | | 2 upon his retirement from the Indiana Senate. |

| 15 | 15 | | 3 Whereas, Senator John Crane has faithfully and honorably |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | 4 served the constituents of District 24, encompassing parts of |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | 5 Putnam and Hendricks Counties, since being elected in 2016; |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | 6 Whereas, Senator Crane has served as the Assistant |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | 7 Chairman for Operations of the Senate Majority Caucus, the |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | 8 ranking member of the Committee on Education and Career |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | 9 Development, as well as a member of various other committees, |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | 10 including Elections, Family and Children Services, Homeland |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | 11 Security and Transportation, Pensions and Labor, and |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | 12 Veterans Affairs and The Military; |

| 25 | 25 | | 13 Whereas, Senator Crane has been an avowed supporter of |

| 26 | 26 | | 14 limited government, authoring a small number of bills while |

| 27 | 27 | | 15 focusing his efforts on supporting legislation to ensure a quality |

| 28 | 28 | | 16 education, protect Second Amendment rights, and empower |

| 30 | 30 | | 18 Whereas, Growing up in rural Indiana, Senator Crane was |

| 31 | 31 | | 19 raised in a family that instilled in him the values of faith, hard |

| 39 | 39 | | 7 Whereas, Senator Crane is a deeply valued member of the |
