37 | 37 | | 3 JULY 1, 2025]: Sec. 6. (a) A TNC shall establish and enforce a zero |
---|
38 | 38 | | 4 tolerance policy for drug and alcohol use by TNC drivers during any |
---|
39 | 39 | | 5 period when a TNC driver is engaged in, or is logged into the TNC's |
---|
40 | 40 | | 6 digital network but is not engaged in, a prearranged ride. The policy |
---|
41 | 41 | | 7 must include provisions for: |
---|
42 | 42 | | 8 (1) investigations of alleged policy violations; and |
---|
43 | 43 | | 9 (2) suspensions of TNC drivers under investigation. |
---|
44 | 44 | | 10 (b) A TNC shall publish on the TNC's digital network: |

45 | 45 | | 11 (1) the policy established under subsection (a); and |
---|
46 | 46 | | 12 (2) the procedure by which a TNC rider may report a violation of |
---|
47 | 47 | | 13 the policy by a TNC driver. |

48 | 48 | | 14 (c) If a TNC driver is convicted of operating while intoxicated |
