| 32 | 32 | | 3 [EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2025]: Sec. 27. (a) As used in this section, |

| 33 | 33 | | 4 "health related social needs" means an individual's unmet, adverse |

| 34 | 34 | | 5 social conditions that contribute to poor health outcomes, such as |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 6 food insecurity, housing instability, unemployment, or lack of |

| 36 | 36 | | 7 transportation. |

| 37 | 37 | | 8 (b) Not later than October 1, 2025, the office of the secretary |
