| 31 | 31 | | 1 SECTION 1. IC 16-20-1-31.4 IS ADDED TO THE INDIANA |

| 33 | 33 | | 3 [EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2025]: Sec. 31.4. (a) A local health |

| 34 | 34 | | 4 department shall provide a water quality test kit to an individual |

| 35 | 35 | | 5 who: |

| 36 | 36 | | 6 (1) resides within the jurisdiction of the local health |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 7 department; and |

| 38 | 38 | | 8 (2) submits a request form prescribed by the local health |
|---|

| 40 | 40 | | 10 (b) A local health department shall issue a water quality test kit |

| 41 | 41 | | 11 to an individual who meets the requirements under this section not |
|---|
| 42 | 42 | | 12 later than ten (10) days after the request is submitted to the local |

| 43 | 43 | | 13 health department and at no cost to the individual. |
