A BILL FOR AN ACT concerning human services and to make an
appropriation.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana:
SECTION 1. [EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2025] (a) There is1
2 appropriated from the state general fund to the division of mental
3 health and addiction three million dollars ($3,000,000) to award
4 grants to community mental health centers (as defined in
5 IC 12-7-2-38) in low income areas to hire mental health
6 professionals during the biennium beginning July 1, 2025, and
7 ending June 30, 2027.
8 (b) This SECTION expires July 1, 2027.
