| 11 | 11 | | 5 Whereas, Adam was born on May 19, 1983, in South Bend, |

| 12 | 12 | | 6 Indiana, to Ervin and Sue Kuspa, who survive him; |

| 13 | 13 | | 7 Whereas, From a young age, Adam had a passion for |

| 14 | 14 | | 8 firefighting, and he would often chase fire trucks down the |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | 9 street and play firefighter with his older brother; |

| 16 | 16 | | 10 Whereas, At the age of 15, Adam began his firefighting |

| 17 | 17 | | 11 career as an explorer for the Portage Township Fire |

| 18 | 18 | | 12 Department. He later worked part-time at the Warren Township |

| 26 | 26 | | 5 Whereas, Throughout his career, Adam dedicated himself to |

|---|

| 29 | 29 | | 8 Whereas, Adam's loved ones remember him for the laughter |

| 30 | 30 | | 9 that filled a room. He also built a strong support system for his |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | 10 parents, siblings, wife, children, nieces, nephews, friends, and |

| 32 | 32 | | 11 colleagues; and |

| 33 | 33 | | 12 Whereas, Adam J. Kuspa was a dedicated firefighter who |

| 34 | 34 | | 13 selflessly risked his life to protect his community. He inspired |

| 36 | 36 | | 15 commitment to the fire service: Therefore, |
