	38	+	A BILL FOR AN ACT to amend the Indiana Code concerning
	39	+	pensions.
13	40		Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana:
14		-	SECTION 1. IC 5-11-20-7 IS ADDED TO THE INDIANA CODE
15		-	AS A NEW SECTION TO READ AS FOLLOWS [EFFECTIVE JULY
16		-	1, 2025]: Sec. 7. (a) This section applies only to a county police
17		-	force pension trust and trust fund authorized under IC 36-8.

	48	+	8 shall make an annual presentation on the information contained in
	49	+	9 a report under section 3 of this chapter for the county's
	50	+	10 immediately preceding fiscal year to the county council.
	51	+	11 (d) A presentation described in subsection (c) must occur not
	52	+	12 later than two (2) months before the date of a public hearing on the
	53	+	13 proposed budget of the county.

	57	+	which was referred Senate Bill No. 144, has had the same under
	58	+	consideration and begs leave to report the same back to the Senate with
	59	+	the recommendation that said bill be AMENDED as follows:

	61	+	and insert "This section applies only to a county police force pension
	62	+	trust and trust fund authorized under IC 36-8.
18	63		(b) This section does not apply to a county having a consolidated
19	64		city.
20	65		(c) The county police department or the department's designee
21	66		shall make an annual presentation on the information contained in
22	67		a report under section 3 of this chapter for the county's
