1340 Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana:
14-SECTION 1. IC 5-11-20-7 IS ADDED TO THE INDIANA CODE
15-AS A NEW SECTION TO READ AS FOLLOWS [EFFECTIVE JULY
16-1, 2025]: Sec. 7. (a) This section applies only to a county police
17-force pension trust and trust fund authorized under IC 36-8.

45+5 (b) This section does not apply to a county having a consolidated

47+7 (c) The county police department or the department's designee

49+9 a report under section 3 of this chapter for the county's
50+10 immediately preceding fiscal year to the county council.
51+11 (d) A presentation described in subsection (c) must occur not
52+12 later than two (2) months before the date of a public hearing on the
53+13 proposed budget of the county.

59+the recommendation that said bill be AMENDED as follows:
