11	11	MR. PRESIDENT:
12	12	I offer the following resolution and move its adoption:
13	13	1 A SENATE RESOLUTION honoring Jack Laurie Group
14	14	2 on its 75th anniversary.
15	15	3 Whereas, Jack Laurie Group was founded in 1950 in Fort
16	16	4 Wayne, Indiana, beginning as a one-man operation in a modest
17	17	5 250-square-foot garage, and remains a proud family-owned
18	18	6 business under the leadership of Jack's son, John Laurie;
19	19	7 Whereas, Jack Laurie Group has grown over 75 years to
20	20	8 employ over 600 full-time team members across the State of
21	21	9 Indiana, with locations in Indianapolis, Fort Wayne,
22	22	10 Merrillville, Lafayette, Columbus, and South Bend, completing
23	23	11 over 400 projects annually;
24	24	12 Whereas, Jack Laurie Group has established itself as an
25	25	13 industry leader, offering a diverse range of services, including
26	26	14 commercial flooring, sports flooring, epoxy and polished
27	27	15 concrete, cleaning services, and residential flooring, while
28	28	16 serving the education, corporate, industrial, medical, non-
29	29	17 profit, and retail industries;
30	30	18 Whereas, Jack Laurie Group has built and operated a
31	31	19 flooring apprenticeship program certified by the Department of
32	32	2025 DR 3829/DI TF 2
33	33	1 Labor in Indiana, training the next generation of skilled
34	34	2 workers and upholding the values of workforce development;
35	35	3 Whereas, Jack Laurie Group is recognized not only for its
36	36	4 business excellence but also for its commitment to community
37	37	5 impact, notably receiving the 2024 Culture of Good Community
38	38	6 Impact Award for its work in the community, including a
39	39	7 collaboration with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Fort
40	40	8 Wayne, raising nearly $90,000 and participating in various
41	41	9 home builds to support families in need;
42	42	10 Whereas, Jack Laurie Group's enduring success is rooted
43	43	11 in its core values of integrity, accountability, candor, and
44	44	12 teamwork, fostering a strong, positive company culture that has
45	45	13 been integral to its achievements; and
46	46	14 Whereas, Jack Laurie Group owes its success to its
47	47	15 customers, past and present employees, and their families, and
48	48	16 pays tribute to its visionary CEO, John Laurie, for his
49	49	17 innovation, dedication, and service, and to its founder Jack
50	50	18 Laurie for creating a solid foundation: Therefore,
51	51	19 Be it resolved by the Senate of the
52	52	20 General Assembly of the State of Indiana:
53	53	21 SECTION 1. That the Indiana Senate extends its warmest
54	54	22 congratulations to Jack Laurie Group for its extraordinary
55	55	23 contributions to the State of Indiana, its communities, and
56	56	24 industries, and wishes the company continued success in the
57	57	25 years to come.
58	58	26 SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Senate is hereby directed
59	59	27 to transmit copies of this Resolution to Jack Laurie Group.
