A RESOLUTION confirming the reappointment of John Valentine Boardman III to 1
the Board of Trustees of the Teachers' Retirement System. 2
WHEREAS, on April 7, 2021, in accordance with KRS 161.250 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2021-216, Governor Andy Beshear reappointed John Valentine 4
Boardman III to the Board of Trustees of the Teachers' Retirement System for a term 5
expiring March 10, 2025; and 6
WHEREAS, the reappointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, John Valentine Boardman III has been determined to meet the 8
requirements of KRS 161.250(1)(b)3.; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the reappointment of John Valentine 13
Boardman III to the Board of Trustees of the Teachers' Retirement System. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to John Valentine Boardman III, 2032 Bridgeport Drive, 16
Lexington, Kentucky 40502, and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, 17
Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. 18
