REAL ESTATE/APPRAISERS:  Establishes fees for licensure as a real estate appraisal
management company
AN ACT1
To enact R.S. 37:3415.10, relative to real estate appraisal management companies; to2
establish an application fee for licensure as a real estate management company; to3
establish a fee for renewal of a real estate management company license; to establish4
delinquent renewal fees; and to provide for related matters.5
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6
Section 1. R.S. 37:3415.10 is hereby enacted to read as follows: 7

The board shall charge and collect fees not in excess of the following:9
(1)  License application fee	$1,500.0010
(2)  License renewal fee	$500.0011
(3)  Delinquent renewal fee:12
January 1 - February 15	$150.0013

Abstract: Establishes an application fee, renewal fee, and delinquent renewal fees for
licensure as a real estate appraisal management company.
Present law provides that it shall be unlawful for a person, corporation, partnership, sole
proprietorship, subsidiary, unit, or any other business entity to directly or indirectly engage
or attempt to engage in business as an appraisal management company, to directly or
indirectly engage or attempt to perform appraisal management services, or to advertise or
hold itself out as engaging in or conducting business as an appraisal management company
without first obtaining a license issued by the La. Real Estate Appraisers Board.
Proposed law authorizes the board to charge and collect fees for a real estate appraisal
management company license not in excess of the following:
(1)License application fee	$1,500.00
(2)License renewal fee	$500.00
(3)Delinquent renewal fee:
January 1 - February 15	$150.00
February 16 - June 30	$300.00
