HOUSE BILL NO. 36

APPROPRIATIONS/TAX APPL:  Appropriates funds to pay claim against the state in
"Janet Davis (Cloud) v. Secretary, Department of Revenue, State of Louisiana"
AN ACT1
To appropriate funds out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2012-2
2013 to be used to pay the recommendation for payment rendered by the Board of3
Tax Appeals in favor of Janet Davis (Cloud); and to provide for related matters.4
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5
Section 1. The sum of Three Thousand Four Hundred Fifty-Eight and No/1006
($3,458.00) Dollars is hereby appropriated out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana7
for Fiscal Year 2012-2013 to be used to pay the recommendation for payment rendered by8
the Board of Tax Appeals in the claim against the state entitled "Janet Davis (Cloud) v.9
Secretary, Department of Revenue, State of Louisiana", bearing Number 7055 on the docket10
of the Board of Tax Appeals, state of Louisiana.11
Section 2. This Act shall become effective on July 1, 2012; if vetoed by the governor12
and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become effective on July 1,13
2012, or on the day following such approval by the legislature, whichever is later.14
