Abstract: Changes allocations of the monies in the Shreveport Riverfront and Convention
Center and Independence Stadium Fund from the African-American Multi-Cultural
Tourism Commission to the Shreveport Bossier African American Chamber of
Commerce.
Present law provides for the distribution of monies in the Shreveport Riverfront and Convention
Center and Independence Stadium Fund. Provides that 3% of monies in the fund shall be
allocated to the African-American Multi-Cultural Tourism Commission.
Proposed law changes present law 3% allocation from the African-American Multi-Cultural
Tourism Commission to the Shreveport Bossier African American Chamber of Commerce.
Effective on July 1, 2014.
