2019 Regular Session ENROLLED SENATE BILL NO. 134 BY SENATOR BISHOP AND REPRESENTATIVES ADAMS, ARMES, BAGNERIS, BERTHELOT, BILLIOT, BRASS, CHAD BROWN, TERRY BROWN, CARMODY, CARPENTER, GARY CARTER, STEVE CARTER, CHANEY, CONNICK, COUSSAN, COX, DUBUISSON, DUPLESSIS, EDMONDS, GISCLAIR, GLOVER, GUINN, JIMMY HARRIS, HILL, IVEY, JACKSON, JEFFERSON, JENKINS, MIKE JOHNSON, ROBERT JOHNSON, JONES, JORDAN, LACOMBE, TERRY LANDRY, LARVADAIN, LEGER, LYONS, MARCELLE, MARINO, MOORE, NORTON, PIERRE, POPE, SCHEXNAYDER, SMITH, STAGNI, STOKES, THOMAS AND WHITE Prefiled pursuant to Article III, Section 2(A)(4)(b)(i) of the Constitution of Louisiana. 1 AN ACT 2 To provide relative to state highways; to provide for the addition and erection of certain 3 signs on the Louisiana welcome signs on Interstate 10 at the Texas and Mississippi 4 state lines; to name a portion of U.S. Highway 90 the "Governor Kathleen Babineaux 5 Blanco Highway"; and to provide for related matters. 6 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana: 7 Section 1. The department shall add "Home of the Who Dat Nation" signs to the 8 Louisiana welcome signs on Interstate 10 in Louisiana at the Texas and Mississippi state 9 lines and in downtown New Orleans at the exit to the Superdome. 10 Section 2. U.S. Highway 90 from its intersection with Interstate 10 in Lafayette to 11 its intersection with Louisiana Highway No. 308 in Raceland is hereby named the "Governor 12 Kathleen Babineaux Blanco Highway". 13 Section 3.
