[R.S. 1:13(B) and 24:177(E)] HCR 8 Reengrossed 2020 First Extraordinary Session James Abstract: Requires all fiscal notes to be requested in writing and requires the legislative officer responsible for preparing the note to include the name of the person who requested the fiscal note on the face of the fiscal note. Present Joint Rule requires certain specified legislative instruments to have a fiscal note attached to it prior to its consideration by any committee of either house, unless the committee otherwise decides, and prior to its consideration on final passage in either house.
