R.S. 40:1046(C)(2)(l) is hereby enacted to read as follows: 9 ยง1046. Board of Pharmacy to adopt rules relative to delivery of dispensed marijuana to patients by employees or agents of the pharmacy. Present law authorizes physicians who are licensed by and in good standing with the La. State Board of Medical Examiners to recommend medical marijuana for therapeutic use by patients clinically diagnosed as suffering from one or more debilitating medical conditions enumerated in present law. Requires the La. Board of Pharmacy to adopt administrative rules relating to the dispensing of medical marijuana to patients. Proposed law retains present law and adds thereto a requirement that the La. Board of Pharmacy adopt rules to provide for procedures and regulations relative to delivery of dispensed marijuana to patients by designated employees or agents of the pharmacy.
