Abstract: Includes solar power generation facilities that have active power purchase agreements
to those facilities that are exempt from application, processing, and monitoring fees.
Present law specifies that any solar power generation facility that is certified by the Public Service
Commission or the council of the city of New Orleans on or before Aug. 2, 2022, is exempt from
the application, processing, and monitoring fees provided for in present law.
Proposed law retains present law and adds facilities that have power purchase agreements in place
to those exempt from the enumerated fees.
