2828 An Act relative to insurance point surcharges.
2929 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
3030 of the same, as follows:
3131 1 SECTION 1. Section 113B of Chapter 175 of the General Laws, is hereby amended by
3232 2inserting, at the end thereof the following sentence:- “In fixing and establishing classifications of
3333 3risk, the commissioner of insurance shall not promulgate any rules or regulations to add
3434 4surcharge points to a motor vehicle insurance premium, based on at-fault accidents or
3535 5convictions of moving violations of motor vehicle laws, for damages not exceeding $2,500.”
3636 6 SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
