2929 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
3030 of the same, as follows:
3131 1 SECTION 1. Section 2 of Chapter 76 of the General Laws is hereby amended in line 5 by
3232 2striking out the words “be punished by a fine of not more than twenty dollars” and inserting in
3333 3place thereof the following words:- “be punished by a fine of not more than fifty dollars for each
3434 4day that the child does not attend school.”
