4646 An Act relative to leaving the scene of a collision.
4747 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
4848 of the same, as follows:
4949 1 SECTION 1. Section 24 of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020
5050 2Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “property”, in line 932, the
5151 3following words:- “or after having reason to know that he collided with or otherwise caused
5252 4injury to any other vehicle or property,”.
5353 5 SECTION 2. Section 24 of said chapter 90, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by
5454 6inserting after the words “death of any person”, in line 982, the following words:- “or after
5555 7having reason to know that he collided with or otherwise caused injury to any person not
5656 8resulting in the death of any person,”. 2 of 2
5757 9 SECTION 3. Section 24 of chapter 90, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by
5858 10striking out the word “shall”, in line 992, and inserting in place thereof the following words:- “or
5959 11after having reason to know that he collided with or otherwise caused injury to any person,
6060 12shall,”.
