[SIMILAR MATTER FILED IN PREVIOUS SESSION SEE HOUSE, NO. 1484 OF 2021-2022.] The Commonwealth of Massachusetts _______________ In the One Hundred and Ninety-Third General Court (2023-2024) _______________ An Act relative to leaving the scene of a collision. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 SECTION 1. Section 24 of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 2Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “property”, in line 932, the 3following words:- “or after having reason to know that he collided with or otherwise caused 4injury to any other vehicle or property,”. 5 SECTION 2. Section 24 of said chapter 90, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by 6inserting after the words “death of any person”, in line 982, the following words:- “or after 7having reason to know that he collided with or otherwise caused injury to any person not 8resulting in the death of any person,”. 2 of 2 9 SECTION 3. Section 24 of chapter 90, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by 10striking out the word “shall”, in line 992, and inserting in place thereof the following words:- “or 11after having reason to know that he collided with or otherwise caused injury to any person, 12shall,”.
