2525 An Act adjusting the salaries of the judicial branch.
2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2727 of the same, as follows:
2828 1 SECTION 1. Section 22 of chapter 211 of the General Laws, as most recently amended
2929 2by section 49of chapter 1 of the acts of 2017 is hereby amended by striking the figure
3030 3“$206,239” and inserting in place thereof the figure “$218,469”.
3131 4 SECTION 2. Said Section 22 of chapter 211 is hereby further amended by striking the
3232 5figure $200,984 and inserting in place thereof the figure “$212,902”.
3333 6 SECTION 3. Section 2 of chapter 211A of the General Laws, as most recently amended
3434 7by section 49 of chapter 1 of the acts of 2017 is hereby further amended by striking the figure
3535 8“$195,358” and inserting in place thereof the figure “$206,943”.
3636 9 SECTION 4. Said section 2 is hereby further amended by striking the figure “$190,087”
3737 10and inserting in place thereof the figure “$201,359”. 2 of 2
3838 11 SECTION 5. Section 4 of Chapter 211B of the General Laws as most recently amended
3939 12by section 49 of chapter 1 of the acts of 2017 is hereby further amended by striking the figure:
4040 13“$184,694” and inserting in place thereof the figure “$195,646”.
4141 14 SECTION 6. Said Section 4 is hereby further amended by striking the figure “$190,124”
4242 15and inserting in place there of the figure “$201,076”.
4343 16 SECTION 7. Said Section 4 is hereby further amended by striking the figure “$195,628”
4444 17and inserting in place thereof the figure “$207,229”.
4545 18 SECTION 8. Said section 4 of chapter 211B is hereby further amended by inserting after
4646 19the fifth paragraph the following: -- “Justices serving as a first justice and justices serving as a
4747 20regional administrative justice, which titles shall not be deemed a judicial office as
4848 21comprehended under the provisions of Article 1 of Chapter 111 of Part the Second of the
4949 22Constitution, shall annually receive from the commonwealth, in addition to the salary heretofore
5050 23provided, an amount of $2,500.
5151 24 SECTION 9. The provisions of the act shall take effect on July 1, 2022.
