An Act adjusting the salaries of the judicial branch.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority 
of the same, as follows:
1 SECTION 1. Section 22 of chapter 211 of the General Laws, as most recently amended 
2by section 49of chapter 1 of the acts of 2017 is hereby amended by striking the figure 
3“$206,239” and inserting in place thereof the figure “$218,469”.
4 SECTION 2. Said Section 22 of chapter 211 is hereby further amended by striking the 
5figure $200,984 and inserting in place thereof the figure “$212,902”.
6 SECTION 3. Section 2 of chapter 211A of the General Laws, as most recently amended 
7by section 49 of chapter 1 of the acts of 2017 is hereby further amended by striking the figure 
8“$195,358” and inserting in place thereof the figure “$206,943”.
9 SECTION 4. Said section 2 is hereby further amended by striking the figure “$190,087” 
10and inserting in place thereof the figure “$201,359”. 2 of 2
11 SECTION 5. Section 4 of Chapter 211B of the General Laws as most recently amended 
12by section 49 of chapter 1 of the acts of 2017 is hereby further amended by striking the figure: 
13“$184,694” and inserting in place thereof the figure “$195,646”.
14 SECTION 6. Said Section 4 is hereby further amended by striking the figure “$190,124” 
15and inserting in place there of the figure “$201,076”.
16 SECTION 7. Said Section 4 is hereby further amended by striking the figure “$195,628” 
17and inserting in place thereof the figure “$207,229”.
18 SECTION 8. Said section 4 of chapter 211B is hereby further amended by inserting after 
19the fifth paragraph the following: -- “Justices serving as a first justice and justices serving as a 
20regional administrative justice, which titles shall not be deemed a judicial office as 
21comprehended under the provisions of Article 1 of Chapter 111 of Part the Second of the 
22Constitution, shall annually receive from the commonwealth, in addition to the salary heretofore 
23provided, an amount of $2,500.
24 SECTION 9. The provisions of the act shall take effect on July 1, 2022.
